This is a fun activity that most chn like. You need a bat and soft sponge ball, One child hits the ball from a volunteer bowler, the batter then collects the ball, walks quickly all the way around the classroom back to the teacher. As they are doing this the rest of the class in groups finish off More… the sentence from the powerpoint. They only have the time it takes the batter to get round the room. Then obviously there is the opportunity to discuss the sentences, misuse of the connective, vote best sentence etc etc. This ppt can also be easily adapted, re-used etc Topcis also included: sentence structure and punctuation.
