Creative Writing Prompts PowerPoint

PowerPoint to stimulate short, 10-minute, creative writing tasks at KS3. Pupils express their ideas free from the burden of long, seemingly endless, tasks. Develop momentum weekly – with reluctant pupils enjoying it by the end. Extendable into longer writing tasks, or use for drama-based activities.

Useful stimulus - thanks. Littered with spelling & punctuation errors unfortunately, but easily changed, so thanks. Though it might seem pedantic, if it's a resource aiming to improve English skills, the following ought to be addressed I feel: There should be a colon after 'following' Slide 1 - should be 'then', not 'the' Slide 3 - should be 'Where were' not 'Were where' Slide 10 - shouldn't be a question mark - it's a command Slide 20 - needs a full stop Slide 24 - should be 'drawers', not 'draws' Slide 40 - should be 'who', not 'that' Slide 42 - should have a question mark from kneed, 26 May 2012 |
