DT Product Analysis Sheet: Philippe Starck Juicer

Overall rating 3 out of 53.2 (30 ratings)

Last updated 26 July 2011, created 31 January 2009, viewed 17,865

Simple worksheet designed to teach KS 3 students the basics of product analysis. I use this with a powerpont on Starck designs as a preliminary. Easily adaptable to KS 4 & 5. My Open Office powerpoint would not upload, I’m afraid.

The sheet is great as a starting point. i have used it blank for homework. Disadvantage better if the product is there in real life - I didn't have one. In fact the juicer doesn't work as well as you would expect!!!

Philippe Starck Juicer. Such a nice design - it really shouldn't be hidden away in the cupboard.Nicely gift boxed. The Alessi Juicy Salif is made from cast alloy and is 29cm high by 14cm diameter.

Juicer and blender. A juicer? Only households can buy and use it efficiently. My friends and I are students and we also plan to buy one, but just the ordinary blender. We won't be using it for more than two years anyway.. Internet marketing

I learned product analysis in the Operation Research course using Analytical Hirarchy Process and "fish bone". I remember the first one more where we are asked to compare between different brands of products. The benefits and drawbacks are all weighted. Would like to see how this one works. Thank you.

Philippe Starck Juicer. Alberto Alessi was surprised and intrigued when he received the design for this lemon juicer from Philippe Starck.
