This is a nice idea for an activity which allows students to work on their understanding of time, this is good for low ability year 7 and 8. Students have to order some programs and then write a TV schedule which tells people when each program starts and finishes, some of the programs last more than 60 minutes which makes it a little more difficult. I presume this is on the BBC since there are no ad breaks! but you could extend the activity by having to add in breaks and working out the revenue gained. This could be used as a main activity in a lesson on minutes and time, you could display on the IWB to save on copying. Thank you for sharing.
