This year the Queen celebrates her Diamond Jubilee. This resource consists of three mathematical mysteries which are based around some of the celebrations taking place. The first mystery requires the use of bearings and constructions, the second probability and proportion and the third distance, tim More…e and ratio. These mysteries can be used in line with your curriculum or as a stand alone lesson as part of the celebrations! Enjoy!

Fantastic resource thank you :-) Answers would have sealed it a 5+ but still very easy to sit and work them out in PPA.

Excellent Jubilee resource! I did change the order of the activities because the horse racing one is a lot quicker than the others and so acted as a nice starter to get them into using the clues in a logical way but other than that it worked really well.
