Hello, thanks for sharing this. We played this in pairs by covering all the numbers with counters. Chn pick a counter and either double or halve the number revealed, according to whether it is red or green. If their partner agrees they are correct they keep the counter, if they're not correct it goes back. Child with the most counters wins. Chn loved it!

Hi Dominic, I let children work in pairs with this resource laminated. They can either take it in turns to choose a square and find the answer (double or halve, see the colour coding). Or they can race to see who can answer the most (writing on it with a whiteboard pen). It's designed to be an open-ended resource so that you can use it in different contexts.
