A number of tasks have been designed for integration within your teaching; they are not exhaustive and function as a guide to an activity based on National Curriculum and further education learning outcomes in the United Kingdom 2008 (though it is not to say that the material is transferable to the More…curriculum of other countries). Photographic permissions and reproduction rights given.

jumabo: response. Hi Jumabo,

Thank you for the comments and I agree with the points, the evaluative material was made on the associated website www.expandingdrawing.co.uk this is no longer active though I have since uploaded a visual guide that shows the outputs.

This is far from perfect and will require some contextual/ adaptive change.

primary material pdf. I don't understand the instructions for this activity. What exactly is being done - drawing or sticking pictures. An example of the end result would be useful.

Not so sure about this.. Have you actually tried this out with Prtimary shool pupils?
I can't imagine how it would work.
They would find it really hard to concentrate on this task for 2 hours even with a break.
