Drawing Portraits- centre and grid lines

Overall rating 4 out of 54.3 (3 ratings)

Last updated 11 February 2012, created 05 February 2012, viewed 2,297

Learners can draw over the photo's of people from different ethnicities and identify the centre, eye line etc. For more able learners the PP introduces other drawing techniques: grid lines and interconnecting points. The PP allows the tutor/ learner to demonstrate on the IWB rather than lecture on 'how to'.

Looks useful in relation to SMSC links as well as technical skills. Will probably use it to reinforce knowledge of the gridlines and where the features go after going through the rule of halves technique. Thank you
