EYFS development matters and profile grid

Overall rating 4 out of 54.6 (35 ratings)

Last updated 02 September 2013, created 03 June 2009, viewed 67,314

one document to cover 0-FSP, each area is on two sheets so 0-36 months and 30-FSP8 (all 9’s are on a separate sheet) can be used separately. I have coded each statement to make planning quicker, the profile codes are standard, the development matters codes are mine I hope they're not to More…o confusing.

Other topics covered: Assessment, Level descriptors/statements.

Thank you for sharing. Feel that I need to 'highlight' something to show progression - but this contradicts what we have been taught etc. Thank you for your hard work.

Hi everyone, can someone please tell me if this is relevant to the current EYFS and whether this document is usable? It looks fantastic, but just wanted to double check!

This is exactly what the government should have provided instead of wasting millions on so-called 'guidance material' which gathers dust in store cupboards and pointless posters which are aimed at re-assuring parents rather than actually enabling us to get on with what we all want to be doing! Thank you so much for taking the time to produce and having the generosity to share this incredibly helpful resource.

Thank you so much. I too have been scouring the net for this. Also asked EYs advisors none of whom had any idea apart from photocopy it all out of the practice guidance (for each child!!!!) . I'll only need 30 -50 and 40 - 60 for my low achieving Rec.
