This episode extends the idea of conservation of momentum to elastic collisions, in which, because KE is conserved, useful information can also be found by calculating the changes in KE of the colliding objects.

Good set of resources for the teaching of this topic from the IOP including weblinks to a video library of useful clips ( using Quicktime ). When I taught this I would have been so pleased to have had all of this information together in one place like this !
