Electron structure Posters

Overall rating 3 out of 53.8 (5 ratings)

Last updated 21 May 2011, created 16 September 2009, viewed 4,848

Used with BTEC group. Each pupil was given an element from 1-20. They had to work out the electron structure of that particular element and make a poster using the templates provided. Part of the activity is the pupils choosing which template to use, depending on the number of electron shells their element has. Perfect for lower ability groups.

Really good resource thank you for posting! BTEC and GCSE struggle with this topic, it will be very useful.

Really good. This is a really excellent resource, will certainly use it with my chemistry, right across abilities and in both year groups. Thank you. I particulary like the reference section and everyday applications, but also the intro to electronic configuration , using the orbital theory. Brilliant.

Thank you. Lovely eye catching posters of the first 20 elements, something to make the start of next term a little easier.
