Espresso Phonics are carefully graded, phonically regular, fun stories, featuring the Espresso characters. Free downloadable resources accompany every level. These include teaching notes, two activity sheets for pupils and a Phonics Check. The Phonics Check (similar to the Phonics Screening Chec More…k) allows you to check that pupils' knowledge is secure and to monitor progression. These Level 3 notes and activity sheets practise new phonemes from Letters and Sounds Phase 3.
