Expelled Pupils Failed in England

Some schools and councils in England are failing to provide proper full-time education for pupils who have been excluded, according to inspectors. The study by Ofsted covers only a small sample size but it suggests that nearly a third of schools and almost half of local authorities surveyed did not More…meet their legal requirements for educating pupils facing long-term suspension or permanent exclusion.
