Exploring Space, satellites, probes, satelites etc

To use as cooperative activity: Pupils lettered A, B, C, D on their tables. All the A’s split off and learn about satellites, B’s learn about space probes etc. Information sheets provided to learn from, no notes to be made and sheets to be removed after (10 min). Then pupils return to their origi More…nal tables and teach the other members of their group about what they learnt. Each group is to collate their information on a poster. Image sheets provided to decorate. Finally I got the groups to peer assess each other’s posters. My year 8’s loved this task, plus it made some fantastic display work!
