GSCE Maths: Proofs of Pythagoras' therom lesson

Overall rating 4 out of 54 (2 ratings)

Although presented as a demonstration, the key point of the geometric exercise is that pupils construct their own copy with paper, pencil and a pair of scissors. They should also be invited to discuss and construct the algebraic proof, preferably in pairs or small groups. A 'click and watch& More…#39; approach will not enable pupils to gain a deep understanding of either proof.
