Football Symmetry

Overall rating 3 out of 53.3 (3 ratings)

Last updated 17 November 2010, created 09 March 2008, viewed 12,603

An exercise in using reflection in a mirror line based on the logos of Manchester United, Chelsea, Birmingham and Aston Villa. Pupils discover what the logos would look like if they were symmetrical. NOTE: Schools away from Birmingham may want to change the bottom two logos to other local teams to add interest for their students.

what about the girls. Cool for the boys but what now we need a similar activity for the girls so the students can then choose which one they want to do.

Inspired idea. Just right for the disaffected, thank you.

A nice filler. I will use this as a filler exercise to change the pace of the lesson. Not sure if tracing paper is easy to find in KS3, but Thanks
