For use to introduce the periodic table and elements. I used this as a plenary where I cut up two sets (10 mins with a guillotine. Placed one on each side bench, split the class into two teams (boys and girls) and got them to construct the table with only small table from their planners as a guide. More… Activity took just over 15 mins and was enjoyed a lot. Pupils then took 3 elements of their choice from the losing side to research for homework (keeping one set complete for next time).
