This really helped to liven up a dull year 9 class and kept them good for 3 weeks, so well done

This has proved very popular with my KS3 group with a little local changes. Keep up the good work. Do you have anything for Mozart?

Accuracy?. A beautifully presented project. I love the idea of the cross curricular links. But Bach did not write the B minor mass in Latin to advance any career connection with the RC church. Although the Lutheran church used the German language for its services, at centres of learning such as the Thomasschule in Leipzig, it was still acceptable to use Latin for some sections of the liturgy. However, the Bm Mass was never performed as an entity in Bach's lifetime and I think we should see it more as a series of composition exercises. Also, Bach was not having to go against his conscience to write this; nothing in the musical setting of the Mass would be offensive to a Lutheran, or an Anglican for that matter. And Roman Catholicism is not a different Religion from Protestantism - they're both Christian! This sort of woolly thinking doesn't help students!

Really excellent!. Many thanks! Matches language and music perfectly for cross-curricular work. And a chance to get them to hear some truly great music for a few minutes too!
