Amazing! Love this. Thanks very much. I don't know if things have changed since the 2011 comments but my school in the UK is using the food pyramid and this fits in perfectly with my lesson plan. Cheers.

Oops! Hadn't realised that was the case Cupcakekatie, thanks for pointing it out, I designed this as a student teacher a few years ago. I am familiar with the eat well plate but didn't know that the food pyramid wasn't really used in the UK, it could be used to test the children though and ask them to compare it to the eat well plate, or you could just replace the slide with the eatwell plate. Thanks for pointing it out though!!

Really great and fun resource. Just a note though- the food pyramid is an American tool for discussing healthy eating. In the UK we use the Eatwell Plate (previously called the Balance of Good Health). My nutrition head couldn't let that go sorry!!
