HIAWATHA’S CHILDHOOD by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Shared and individual writing frames can be used with verses differentiated by length and complexity This extract can be used at almost any stage in KS2 since it can be viewed as classic, traditional or narrative poetry and also stemming from More… another culture and by a significant author. It is a clear example of blank verse with a strong rhythm and is ideal performance poetry.
