This newspaper report, hot seating activity and writing frame give the children the chance to role play a character and then write a short story showing how they saved the Earth from an alien invasion. I have used this resource on many occasions when making author visits to schools and the children More… always seem to thoroughly enjoy it. They also produce some good quality creative writing too.
