These are some items that I have used on a small display board. I always back this theme with black paper. Print out these space items and laminate them. After lamination make sure that when you cut them out you leave an extra bit of paper on as a hinge. This can be at the top or side. Next choos More…e your focus for the board eg what is 1 more or less than; or what is this number plus 10. Write a number on the laminated rocket or star with a white board pen, attach to the board with a drawing or map pin using the extra piece as a hinge, put a small piece of paper under the rocket/star etc with the answer on it. This idea can be used with any theme eg under the sea, minibeasts, dinosaurs etc. These are just a few of the sort of objects I have used for my interactive space display. Once the children have got the idea of how to use the display you can change the focus . The great thing about laminating them is that you can use these objects repeatedly.

Completely aree with 'Junglepuss'! This is what I love about this site, people are so generous uploading their ideas and saving others time and effort. I have gratefully used many resources on this site adding to/adapting them to suit my own purposes. Thankyou byjingo (love that nametag!)

A collection of resources (based on Space theme) that may be useful for display purposes.

Not really what I was expecting - a collection of clip art images really. Would be far more useful to see it in action - perhaps you can add a photo of your display.

Adapt, alter, change and use!!. Be resourceful and adaptable! Print out small multiple copies of the images, children match number to images, then have '+1, +10, -1, -10' questions printed with the answers under as described. Finding images like these takes up so much time, so don't dismiss them, alter them!! Thanks for your time.
