Lovely thank you, especially as easy to adapt for my very low ability Y7 students. Showed the logic of addition/subtraction using number line.

Thank you for such a simple but effective worksheet. I used it with my lower level Year 4 and 5 groups and it reinforced their understanding of inverse. i also made them give evidence for their answers, using a number line, that they created in the space under each question.

A simple worksheet with 9 subtraction questions listed, using numbers to 30, for children to answer. Next to each question is an addition question with a missing number which is the same as the answer from the subtraction question. A closed activity which could help children see and use the link between addition and subtraction in Year 2 and lower KS2.
