I use this to stick in the front cover of my students' journals to keep track of individual writing goals. I write the date each time a child meets the goal without prompting. The goals are tailored to each child's abilities (from "write at least one word" to using end marks, capit More…alization, etc.) The first is a blank copy, the second I have filled in some examples of goals to set for children.
