’KS2 Drama in PSHE’ looks at D4LC (Drama for Learning and Creativity), an initiative pioneered by Patrice Baldwin of Norfolk County Council Children’s Services.

Focusing on a lesson given by John McConnell of Lionwood Junior School, Norwich, the film follows his use of Forum Theatre as a creative device to make SEAL lessons more engaging for young children.

He uses role play to explore ways of resolving conflict, such as arguments over football and fashion, and encourages pupils to make suggestions about how to resolve conflict effectively.
