A look at how KS3 curriculum changes are performing in practice. This programme looks at how wholesale reforms of the Key Stage 3 Curriculum are working in practice. Pupils at St George's School in Blackpool are designing, packaging and marketing a new chocolate bar. They learn adult skills essen More…tial for survival in the modern world, including planning, teamwork and evaluation. At first, some pupils are reluctant to participate. But once they have been coached in some basic presentation skills, they are eager to stand up in front of their peers. The senior leadership team are convinced that projects like this improve teaching, learning and results.
