The OpenNI Open Source libraries along with the Primesense libraries allow the Microsoft Kinect to be used with a PC. This tutorial explains how to get the Kinect working with the OpenNI Open Source libraries. This is the first in a series of tutorials. The follow up tutorials will explain how to ge More…t cause and effect graphics to respond to the hand movements of a user. This will be developed to allow other parts of the body to be tracked giving afferent-efferent loop closure biofeedback.
