I put a sign on the door prompting kids to push close to the hinge when coming in and then later got them to discuss what they found. Content: summary of key terms, principle of moments, starter puzzle (to discuss): "Can Olive Oyl lift the rock?", Shrek and friends on a seesaw (I had a dem More…o seesaw with plasticine Shrek characters and I went through investigation as a demo with the whole class, filling in the table and then introducing the equation), calculations including starter puzzle. Also contains homework and another yoyo puzzle.

A great resource! The door puzzle got my students thinking and they enjoyed having Shrek in their questions. Thank you!
