A love of walking in forests in her home country of the Philippines inspired the winning entry of 13-year-old Trisha Co Reyes in the 2011 International Children's Painting Competition on the Environment - watch Trisha's film come to life. Trisha beat over 600,000 other young people to win first plac More…e in the competition, which is organised by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

A lovely, moving cartoon that explains in a suitable way about life in the forest. Would also be suitable for KS2 pupils if high ability too. For older pupils real photos could be used to make the issue even more important.
