The video link is great... Some of the other 'commentary' in the document isn't really that useful though. I think that those of us who work in non-faith schools can make use of the clip, and some of the ideas about forgiveness (the way this comes across in the clip is very moving) but the extended commentary about how this comes across in Christian faith - which you have included in your review - is too heavy-going for many of us to use with our pupils!
I agree with you that the story would require a box of tissues and many of my students would be touched by the story. The story itself would be a spiritual springboard. I would probably use the video for top sets. Many of our lower sets however would not cope with the amount of reading on the slides. I do love how you have gone into great detail about the story and ideas of love and forgiveness for use in the classroom. A great host of ideas. Thanks for sharing.
