The poem can be used to find rhyming words as well as introduce new vocabulary especially to children that are learning English as their second language. It may then be used as a listening comprehension to help the children remember what they did. It may also be used as an introduction to the lesson to help the children imagine

Many thanks. We are doing a whole school moderation exercise at the end of the Summer term and it is just the resource I needed. You have saved me hours.
