In this activity the children are asked to draw a treasure map on the grid and then look at the pictures to draw objects on their island. This activity could be used as an introduction to coordinates and maps or as a part of a topic on seaside. I have also uploaded the activity poster I put on the t More…able for the children to look at when they carried out this activity.
