Making moral decisions - Knife Crime

Overall rating 5 out of 55 (1 rating)

I centred this around knife crime as it is something we are trying to educate pupils at our school so it was a great opportunity for a thinking skills group work lesson that incorporated sources of moral authority, religion and contemporary issues. Hope you find it useful.

knife inThis is an extremely important topic, particulalry for AT". The material here provides a good 'way in.' I especially like all the varied quotations and the fact that they are given with the text info for each source.

A stabbing incident happens every 25 minutes in the UK. -

4 in 5 offenders aged between 12 years - 20 years and a third of victims aged between 10 years - 17 years! *useful statistic from ppt.

Clearly this is a topic that deserves the best and most engaging/rigorous/serious approach possible and I am really grateful to chadwick for sharing them here.
