I made this very simple version for younger children. All pictures from internet (thank you) You could use this as a starting point for discussion or an assembly. Knock out the last page if you want it for use during BHM.

Excellent resource thank you. I have been given some very detailed slides to use with Yr2 children but these are so much better. I have just added in his Nobel Peace prize in 1964 and mentioned that he was assassinated rather then just died, think my yr2 class will understand this.
