Children revise recognition of all coins. They go onto investigate totals using two coins. They find all possibilities using an order list. They use their knowledge of number facts to 20 to find totals of prices and change up to 20p and to create number stories. They use their knowledge of adding/subtracting 9, 10, 11 and 20 to add amounts and reduce prices.

Excellent planning for 5 days of money and problem solving. The lessons are practical based and use a wide range of resources to support children's learning. Nice idea of having a shop with priced items, could be a constant role play area in the classroom.
