Assess and review (five days).

• Interpret mixed numbers, e.g. 5½ , and position them on a 0 to 10 number line
• Use decimal notation for tenths and recognise equivalent vulgar fractions
• Use expanded vertical addition to add pairs of three-digit numbers, including those where the ones digits total more than 10 (not crossing 100s or 1000) and then those where the tens total more than 100 (but not both). Approximate first
• Find a difference between three-digit numbers either side of a multiple of 100, e.g. 524 – 478 and then of neighbouring multiples of 100, e.g. 524 – 389, using pairs to 100 and place value. Draw own ENL
• Choose written or mental methods to solve three-digit additions and subtractions
• Multiply and divide two-digit numbers by single digits (using the grid method and ‘chunking’, including answers with remainders)
