Reasoning and explaining (three days).

Children sort statements about properties of numbers according to whether they are always, sometimes or never true. They use their multiplication and division facts to find missing numbers in multiplication grids and they use their experience of multiplying and dividing two-digit numbers by single-digit numbers to come up with equivalent calculations.
