I have taught this unit a few times to different classes - Year 3, Year 3/4 and Year 2/3. It can be adapted easily. The book is fabulous and the imaginative/descriptive writing is always superb as the children get a lot from the drama activities. One lesson observation received an Outstanding. Thank you very much for this. I absolutely love this book as a text for Y3 for all the reasons you give, and your lesson plans are excellent and very detailed.
