Mr Bean destroys Greek Vases

A problem-solving task to start an art topic on Ancient Greek Vases. My kids love the appealing context/purpose for doing task. This is a good way to start the topic to show how information on the past is collated, by putting artifacts together to make sense of it.

I think I get the idea - we have to cut them up for the children to piece back together? Would be great to have information on what the clay pots actually show.

Thank you! I will use this 'jigsaw' with some of my SEN students as a practical activity.

It really isn't very clear from the instructions or the powerpoint what you are supposed to do with this activity. This is a shame as it looks like it would be really good.

Useful for my art topic. Thanks, we are starting a several week long cross curric topic culminating in greek vases being produced. This will get them looking more closely at the art styles etc.

What is supposed to happen?????????. Is thjis supposed to be a picture that is broken into pieces? I can't see how the children would find this interesting as it stands

I'm confused!. What am I supposed to do with it? How does the lesson work? I think there's a really good idea there once I understand it!
