Phase 1 and 2 planning for Year 5 Myths and Legends unit (misleadingly entitled fairytales!). Used two different versions of Robin Hood (one a comic book- details included in planning). Led on to planning an oral story using talk for writing and finally designing a comic strip version of this story.

Thanks - I am about to teach this unit and this has given me some excellent ideas - I like the one for generating suspense writing too! Thanks!
