I adapted this playscript from the film 'Oliver!' and my Year 6 class performed it as their leavers' play. It could also be used in English in work on Charles Dickens (significant authors) and/or playscripts. I think there would be copyright issues if you were to perform this (because of the songs More… etc) but we didn't realise that at the time. Please note we also took the liberty of changing the story at the end; this could be a useful discussion point with your class though. If you found this helpful, please leave a review. Thank you.
