A sheet with a number of world flags to work out the number of lines of symmetry. ActivPrimary Flipchart added to aid the teaching and marking of Symmetry. As this has made the TES mailing I thought I would just add in that I have made a number of other activities with an Olympic Theme so in Sear More…ch put in Olympic Maths and my other worksheets / IWB activities will come up I will add to them as I create them. Topics also included: Reflective symmetry; understanding shape and space.

This worked well as the flags used picked up a misconception some of the pupils hadn't picked up that the colour must be included in the mirror image and this PPP allowed me to reinforce this.
Saved me a lot of work thank you
Made a great cover activity for a KS3 PRU maths starter-done as a competitive activity we had fun-especially as we all made an assumption about the UK flag!
Some more great olympic work - thanks.
