This worked well as the flags used picked up a misconception some of the pupils hadn't picked up that the colour must be included in the mirror image and this PPP allowed me to reinforce this.

Made a great cover activity for a KS3 PRU maths starter-done as a competitive activity we had fun-especially as we all made an assumption about the UK flag!

Great resource. Used as a maths investigation with a year 2 class and it tied in nicely with our topic on the Olympics. The children loved it and were very motivated and on task for whole lesson. Thank you!

Fantastic Symmetry Idea. Sorry, computer hiccupped!
The full comment should have read:
This gave me a great starter activity for my micro teach. I added to it using flags from countries who had qualified for the FIFA World Cup but cheated a little by adding the Union Jack - the students had to identify the different countries represented by the flags, find the odd one out (the Union Jack because it's not symmetrical) and so state the link between the others (ie they all had at least one line of symmetry).
It was a great activity so a big thank you.

Really great time saver.. This is the kind of thing that takes me hours if I try to do it myself. Thanks for your efforts on our behalf. I am really looking forward to using this as I know the kids will love it.
