Pencil Full Of Lead - 12 Bar Blues

Overall rating 4 out of 54.3 (4 ratings)

Last updated 06 December 2012, created 21 March 2012, viewed 1,524

This is a 12 bar blues piece I have used with my Y8 class over the past half term. As it is a recent song, the pupils really relate to it and enjoy singing along when they get the chance! It is in the original key, which makes playing along to the song easy, and also allows for class performances More… with the song playing in the background. Please leave some feedback, as comments are greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much for this - another take on Blues Music! Makes it interesting for both me and the pupils.

This is great! I've taught Blues a few years now and always looking for a fresh way of doing it. Thanks for saving me a load of time arranging a new song!
