Solving Equations Starter. This is a pictorial representation of two equations that have to be solved. One of my groups Yr8, just stared at it and once they saw the solution, they sighed by the simplicity of it. Then, my Yr 7 had a good go and eventually solve them. It’s interesting and can be the i More…ntroduction to solving simultaneous equations. It can trigger so much discussion. It doesn’t really matter if the group can’t solve it. But, I’m sure that any group can be led into it and become familiar with that type of problems. Dead simple and a great starter!

Really nice idea. Thanks. If anyone else is struggling to open you can view notebook files online at http://express.smarttech.com/ - The file should store in your downloads folder when you first try and open it.
