Reworked for city kids: unfinished version of "January brings the snow" with urban rather than rural images, for completion by other city kids (in pairs, groups or whole class). Reading age of original (supplied): probably adult. Reading age of revised version, about Level Two. Could work well w More…ith musical accompaniment, sound effects etc, either recorded, or make a nice class assembly piece; or use for drama/dance stimulus, e.g. pairs or trios mime one verse each.

A good idea. I wouldn't have thought of changing the things for more appropriate images, will rework for year 1, thanks for the inspiration
