KS3 PowerPoint Lesson - Year 7 Probability

Overall rating 4 out of 54.2 (6 ratings)

Last updated 08 May 2013, created 25 July 2009, viewed 26,571

This is a traditional PowerPoint lesson for a year 7 probability lesson containing two bonus questions (also ideal for other KS3 classes). I used the picture at the end to discuss how there is a grater chance of being shot… than winning the lottery… This is mentioned in the KS3 programme of study: “ More…explore and discuss statistics associated with controversial health issues, for example, drugs, alcohol, smoking and gambling.”
