Developed as part of my work on the Elklan course, this checklist is designed to provide a method of further observation / assessment for students who are known to be struggling with the social side of language such as turn-taking, use of appropriate words & phrases etc. This can be used to gath More…er evidence for a referral to specialists or as a way of selecting students for an intervention, with it completed a second time at a later point to show progress.
