Pressure lesson: puzzles, practical and quiz

Overall rating 4 out of 54.8 (5 ratings)

Last updated 24 July 2014, created 05 January 2013, viewed 2,510

This pressure lesson includes levelled outcomes, fun puzzling scenarios to get the kids thinking about solid pressure, an introduction to the pressure equation, guidance on a practical measuring different pressures (including a checklist for each pupil so they have success criteria) and a true false More… quiz to check understanding (good at catching out misconceptions). The introduction has Queen's "Under pressure" as a soundbyte - a nice way to start (although some thought it was Jedward!)
