I have spent a year: researching, designing and writing this website to provide children aged 7-11 with a chronological overview of the history of Britain. It contains information on the characteristic features of each period in our past from the Mesolithic era to the year 2000, including details More… of all the significant events that took place and important people that lived in them. Useful for children who are interested in researching and learning about British history.
